GRIDD Design System
The property planning design system
How GRIDD looks, speaks and behaves. Clean whites, one indigo accent, colour decoupled from content — light and dark.
Where to start
Apps extend @gridd/ui as a Nuxt layer; every component below auto-imports as Gd*.
Principles
01
Colour is decoupled from content
Status colour is generic. What approvals a property needs is carried by icons and words.
02
Plain English leads
The statutory term follows as a chip — never the headline, never alone.
03
Machine facts are monospaced
Mono is what a computer asserts; Inter is what a person wrote.
04
Nothing decorative moves
Motion keeps the parcel anchored. The verdict never animates its wording.
05
The map survives
Dialogs are rare. Everything explanatory is anchored to the thing it explains.
06
Legible in greyscale
The approval stack reads with no colour at all. That is the honesty test.
